About Us

Kenya fashion week provides a sophisticated and professional platform for designers to showcase their collections in a three-day event set up with international standards.


The designers get access to professional models, makeup, hair and choreographers.


The runway brings to life creativity from our very own Kenyan designers together with international guest designers on the same platform. Apart from the shows a red carpet Gala dinner and industry workshops are scheduled in the week.


Since the inception of the Kenya fashion week in 2001 no other event in the fashion industry has matched its impact in the six years it was held. The designers got the opportunity to showcase their collections with professional renowned models, hair & makeup artists, and photographers, on the runway in the presence of potential local and international buyers.

The event is a landmark for Kenya as a tourist destination with opportunities for the guests to diarize a safari as part of the calendar. With the introduction of social media and online outlets, we are confident of solidifying the event as one of the iconic events in Africa.

The demographic encompasses all ethnicities and cultures in a massive social event for the entire family.85% being women of ages between 35-44 ( both male & female attend the event. A novelty, relaxed clientele aware of new trends with adequate deposable spending power. The Kenyan population is very internet savvy, due to the cable connection and access to mobile phones.

 

Kenya's penetration of mobile phones is at 80%.Access to data all over the country even the rural villages has transformed the world into one big village.
